It’s been nearly four years since our landmark announcement that brought Red Hat Enterprise Linux to Microsoft’s powerful global cloud, Azure, and since then we have continued to strengthen the Red Hat Microsoft alliance and reach new milestones. 

Last week, we announced the IBM acquisition of Red Hat. It is a monumental deal, one that will enable us to work together to help customers deliver any app, anywhere, to realize the true value of the hybrid cloud.

Today, IBM finalized its acquisition of Red Hat.

Today, we announced that IBM’s landmark acquisition of Red Hat has closed and shared our vision for how our two companies will move forward together. 

Hello again from the Red Hat Storage Architect team. In this series, I will show various ways to deploy MongoDB on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform using Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage as the persistent storage layer that will provide stability, resilience and performance to MongoDB. All the demos and examples are based on OpenShift Container Platform v3.11.98 and OpenShift Container Storage v3.11.2.

As we kick off summer, we wanted to share some of the latest awards and recognition that Red Hat has received over the last few months. Since our last award roundup, Red Hat has been honored with more than 17 new accolades across our organization.

For more than 19 years, Red Hat has collaborated with HPE to develop, deliver and support trusted solutions that can create value and fuel transformation for customers. Our work together has grown over these nearly two decades and our solutions now include Linux, containers and telecommunications technologies, to name just a few. As a testament to our collaboration, HPE has named Red Hat the Technology Partner of the Year 2019 for Hybrid Cloud Solutions.

Red Hat has joined the Business Coalition for the Equality Act, a group of leading U.S. employers supporting U.S. federal legislation that would provide the same basic protections to LGBTQ people as are provided to other protected groups under federal law.
